During your training course, we’ll teach you the principals of yoga, how to structure classes, how to incorporate anatomy and philosophy into your teaching, we will help you enhance your natural gifts, and own the skills you need to become the best teacher you can.

We offer 3 different course formats to help you balance work, family responsibilities and yoga. Regardless of the course length, each one of our teacher training cover over 240 hours of learning, 40 more hours than required by the authorizing yoga authority.

Our approach to the body takes on physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, range of movement) and sets this against developing models of the yogic body (chakras, nadis, etc.). Integrating both of these approaches, you will gain a holistic view of how yogic techniques work.

Early and ongoing teaching practice sessions form an essential component in ensuring you reach a high standard of instruction. Practices and teaching drills start within the first few days of the course and are maintained through to examinations. You'll be able to confidently lead 60- and 90-minute classes by the end of your training.

Q: HOW MANY YEARS MUST I PRACTICE IN ORDER TO BE ACCEPTED?
If you have a regular yoga practice or are a beginner but a committed student, you likely qualify for our teacher training programme.
Q: WHEN IS MY DAY OFF?
You will have 1 rest day a week, day depends on the group.
Q: CAN I DO OTHER CORSES DURING MY TRAINING?
YES, but only on your day off or after completion of course as the course is intensive.
Q: HOW ARE THE 200 HOURS COVERED ON THIS COURSE?
During your Teacher Training, you'll actually complete approximately 240 hours of training, 40 hours more than the required minimum. The basic breakdown includes contact hours totalling 180 hours, outside class observations and assisting (10 hours), home work/self-study (50 hours), and attendance at all morning yoga classes/Self Practice.
Q: DO I AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY AS A YOGA TEACHER BY ATTENDING THE COURSE?
No, in order to qualify you are required to: Attend 100% of the course Complete all assessments, Observe live yoga classes externally and write up observations, Assist in a yoga class on the training, Preform a yoga Nidra class.
Q: WHAT IF I MISS A DAY?
Full attendance on the course is expected. In the event that missing a class is unavoidable, you'll need to schedule with your course leader how to make-up the missed class.
Q: WHAT IS NEEDED TO BEGIN TEACHING?
On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Teacher's Certificate. Many yoga studios also require their teachers to be registered with the Yoga Alliance, and showing the YA logo on your correspondence shows you're a teacher that students can trust.
Q. SHOULD I TAKE THE COURSE, EVEN IF I DON’T WANT TO BE A YOGA TEACHER?
Please do! Yoga teacher training is a wonderful way to deepen and recommit to your practice.
Q. WHAT STYLE OF YOGA WILL I BE LEARNING?
Yoga has many different styles, each having its own significance. You will be exposed to several forms of yoga, which will give you a holistic view of how and what you’d like to teach. Q. DO I NEED TO BE YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED TO TEACH YOGA?
You don’t need any certification at all in order to teach yoga. But these days most studios or even personal clients are asking for credentials. This is where these certifications become handy.
Q. DO I NEED TO BE YOGA ALLIANCE REGISTERED TO TEACH YOGA?
It’s not compulsory to register with Yoga Alliance however it’s highly recommended if you are planning to teach. It’s a global directory of yoga teachers and schools. By registering with them you are increasing your visibility and improving your chances of getting work. However, you will need to pay $115 for the first year and $65 annually from the subsequent year.
